| Summer 2016. Walking in the Northern Coast of Ireland. The Irish Atlantic Way in the Portsalon Peninsula. We meet with our colleagues in this trip in Ramelton, Donegal, which is situated on the River Lennon and has a wealth of architectural heritage with fine old Georgian houses and a lovely tree-lined mall. Sean Mullan will be our captain; Michael, our helsman; and Kathy (from Wien), Carme, Pilar and Josep M. (from Catalonia), we are the crew. First walking day amongst the blue, the green, the grey... and the nice Irish drizzle at the lighthouse in Fanad Head and the beautiful coast and beaches of Portsalon Peninsula. Our first miles in the spectacular and still wild Atlantic Way. |
